The Final 24

No, I'm not talking about Kieffer Sutherland...although he is a hottie...I'm talking about the last 24 hours before this baby shows up.

I'm tired from a restless night of trying to get comfortable enough to sleep. Daylight Savings totally kicked my butt, and I should have gone to sleep at like 7 the last two night.

HOWEVER! I've a list of things to do today to distract me.

Here they are, in particular order:
  • fold and put away clean clothes
  • wash, dry, fold and put away sheets
  • remake beds with fresh sheets
  • make 2 casseroles
  • track down meals and schedule
  • arrange additional meals
  • gather remaining tax items
  • submit FSA items for first quarter of 2010 for reimbursement
After those are done, I'm taking a long old nap and throwing a book into my bag, and will hopefully make it through til tomorrow...I'm not wanting things to happen today...but that's because I'm a selfish, mean, nasty person who doesn't want my child to share a birthday with my adopted sister...

So this baby is going to be a St. Pat's baby? Awesome! Very fun. I am praying for you and looking forward to hearing if I get to shop for pink or blue. ;)

For anyone checking here for news on Kork & the new little one....start shopping for pink!

Baby arrived safely via c-section on St.Patrick's day. She's a little chunk (in the words of her mother) at 9 lbs, 5 oz & 20 3/4 inches long. Mama & baby are doing well. Big sister is anxious to take over all baby care & big brother doesn't really get what all the fuss is about. After all, new babies don't really do anything special. :)
