10 Things That Make Me Happy

Thanks to Unknown Sara - what a great idea this is, especially in light of all the crazy weather sweeping the States, and the fact that I'm feeling a bit itchy about being on some restrictions...but I'm not going there right now...

SO, without further ado - 10 Things That Make Me Happy

1. BB's concern that I be safe and healthy. No matter what that means he has to do to make it so.
2. Sticky kisses from my children, and their little voices saying "I love you, Mama!" as they snuggle up against me.
3. The cats using me as their bed and giving me a massage with their kneading paws and purring.
4. My house being clean.
5. The scent of clean children after their bath.
6. Freshly baked bread.
7. The snow drifting down, covering everything with a sparkling white blanket.
8. The leaves of my daffodils peeking through the crust of the remaining snow.
9. The crazy intensity of the sky during the heat of August, when everything is baking, and you can see the shimmer of the heat off the pavement.
10. A tall, stemaing, spicy Chait, made the real way, not like at Americanized coffee houses...
