OK...so I'm not sure if I'll be blogging or not while we're out of town, and therefore wanted to say:
Happy Thanksgiving to my Stateside readers, and any of you out of the country.
As I sit with my in-laws, in a silent home, eating a slice of turkey breast (no dark meat an option), a scoop of peanut dressing (I'll explain that one after our trip), rice, peas, cranberry sauce, and follow it up with some of the best pumpkin pie with homemade crust ever...I'll be thinking of you all, and being so thankful that Farmwife convinced me to start this blog, and have since met all of you.
To those of you alone this year: My prayers are that you will find a peaceful spot inside yourself and know that you are loved, and thought of during this time.
To those of you whose houses are more like mine are with music and candles and games, and noise, and laughter: Remember to find your truly thankful place and etch it into your memory, take lots of pictures, use that video recorder, and hug your relatives, no matter their age.
