Priceless

Cost of the quilt my mother gifted to me: $0
Cost of the hardware to hang it: $30
Cost of time to move ladder and drill to hang said hardware: $0

Totally new-feeling dining room? Priceless!

After hanging up the quilt, and moving some pictures around, hanging cars and butterflies and new valances, and then feeling guilty for sitting down for a few moments to check email etc yesterday...

I realized that I truly cannot do it all in one day...

However, that being said, after I logged off yesterday, I:

• Put away all the toys (in their appropriate locations)
• Put all the extraneous fresh produce away (don't ask)
• Made 2 more batches of applesauce
• Put away all the magazines and books that BB and I have left floating around the house over the last weeks, which I have cleaned AROUND
• Did 2 more loads of laundry
• Made my menus and grocery lists for the next 3 weeks
• Organized and filed all the personal paperwork that has accumulated in unseen places over the last weeks (which I'm still not sure of the origin)
• Made dinner
• Called my folks and had them come over to join us
• Entertained my faimly for 3 hours
• Bathed and put the kids down for the night

Today, as my Cleaning Lady is here, I am enjoying playing with the children, and knowing that this afternoon, I can:

• Do nothing
• Iron
• Do more laundry
• Work in my Mary Kay office
• Sleep
• make something amazing for dinner

OR, any combination thereof!
