Friday Fun at its Finest!

Join in the Karnival! Here's the original inspiration .

I must admit that I was unaware of said Karnival this morning, but I am counting it anyway!

I was out for a "girls' morning" with my neighbor and her 14 year old daughter. We went to the local beauty school for pedicures and manicures. While were sitting, being pampered, me with Tiny Princess on my lap, I decided that I needed to be exercising too! So, since I couldn't very well do crunches, or "activate" my abs and keep the Princess happy, I started practicing my Kegels.

Now, I had 2 C-Sections, and so don't have the same...looseness that some other moms out there may have. HOWEVER, I do NOT want to be at some important event in the lives of my family some day down the line and afraid to sneeze, cough, or laugh for fear of piddling all over my chair and clothing. So I Kegel. Daily.

At any rate, now that you know...I invite you to join in! Come and enjoy the wonders of resistance training, and log in and post. Where were you, what were you doing, and did you tell anyone?

I did not tell anyone as the lady that was there getting her nails done was relating to us the tragically amusing story of the bad end to her 28 year marriage. I didn't want to suddenly speak up and say "I'm doing Kegels!" It would have been rude.

I have to admit I am awful at doing my kegels(and I had a vaginal birth - yikes). Will the old mare ever be the same anyways? But when I do them it has been in the car. Uh...perhaps I should clarify, while I am driving.
