Mid-Week Musing

Nothing much to report in the happening of my little kingdom since yesterday afternoon...

I spent about 90 minutes trying to wrestle grout out of my shower...boy was that as much fun as a root canal...after my struggles, and BB's struggles the evening prior, we decided to spend some money and purchase an attachment for one of the power tools that we already own, and it came home last night. Of course, we didn't actually USE it last night, as BB had a meeting with his team of people in Shanghai, and didn't arrive home until almost 8 pm...poor man...and of course tonight, when we COULD use it, we have a little dilemma...you see, our state's baseball team is in this little contest called the World Series...and BB, being a West Coast boy, LOVES baseball, so we HAVE to watch the games (not to mention the fact of bragging rights). However, several months ago, when our team was not even in the running to make the playoffs, let alone be in the actual Series...he scheduled a meeting of our HOA Board. For tonight. At our house.

So, today will be short, and of little rest for me.

I, sadly, let chaos and clutter creep into my kitchen and dining room over the last 10 days. We have bags of Halloween candy on the dining room table awaiting next week's trick-or-treaters, a few Christmas decorations that I picked up on clearance yesterday, and some gifts for BB that need to be tucked away. Add to this, that I need to wash my floors, vacuum my carpet, do some laundry, and my ironing, and make dinner, all before 7pm.

So my musing for today will be my mother's mantra "If you do it now, there will be less to do later". Cheesy and rather corny to hear out loud, but true in its simplicity...

So enjoy your Wednesday, and be thinking of me and my list of chores!

I'm think of you today. If I was in the area, I'd help pitch in. Have fun.
