Well, ok, anytime it snows like this we have an enforced day of not going anywhere...but still...
we awoke this morning to find the snow coming down hard and fast, rapidly stacking up, blanketing everything in white...and now, the schools are closed, and the moms' group is cancelled for today, and the wind is whipping...the wet snow is splatting against my windows, and it is COLD...
they've closed several roads due to bad visibility and the blowing snow, and icy conditions.
we're supposed to get between 8 - 16 inches out of this storm, and they're already calling it the Spring Blizzard of 2009...
BB is at work (stupid work, not closing), and has to stop at the pet store on the way home to get dog food for Rocco...and the grocery for some essentials...
I'm worried about him getting home because he chose to take the car, not the 4-wheel drive truck...
Pray that anyone that had to be out today is safe and gets home safely, and that there are no casualties out of this storm...
On a lighter note, let's start taking bets about the number of babies that will be making arrivals in the end of the year, beginning of 2010 as a result of this storm!!!!
