Well, I had absolutely no idea just how addicted I was to my Internet...
Yesterday, we were without for the entire day, as the company that owns our network was upgrading in our area...not sure why they had to take down the entire freaking city to do upgrades in one area, but what can you do?
So, from 8 yesterday morning until 8 last night, we were without Internet access. Of course, it would not have mattered as by the time I had a moment where both kids were napping, it was thundering and lightning ferociously...to the point that the crack of lightning made the speakers crackle...so I powered off the computer. Then the storm interfered with my satellite TV, so I couldn't even zone out in front of the TV. I actually had to be productive! Ick...some days I just don't want to be grown-up...and yesterday was one of them...I wanted to be like the neighbor kids and have nothing to do all day long. Alas, it was not to be...I did the ironing, which, because I'd procrastinated for 2 weeks, took me all 3 hours that the kids were asleep...grrrrrr...
