Oh Where, Is My Hairbrush?

Ok, this really isn't about my hairbrush at all, as it is safely put away in its normal spot. I was just watching VeggieTales with Captain Chaos as a treat today, and that is the song stuck in my head. Which in itself is odd, because we didn't watch that episode...hmmmmmm perhaps because we watched "Minnesota Cuke and the Search for Samson's Hairbrush"? I shall ponder that...

Well, BB and I did it again today...just when I think we're doing really well with this whole budget thing, and actually sticking to it we do something and blow a large amount of money on seemingly necessary items that really aren't...

Case in point:
Last week, we spent a bit of money on a really cool patio umbrella...which I have enjoyed the shade of for the last 8 days (give or take a few rainy moments).

Saturday, after reading about traveling light, BB decided that we had to do it for our trip in July. So, off we went to find all the nifty things that help you to pack lightly, still look respectable, and can be hand-washed and line-dried quickly. $300 later...we came home (see my last post).

Today, we went to our local Dick's Sporting Goods for some of those trendy and nifty "convertible wet-gear" zip-off pants. $120 later, we walked out with 2 pairs of pants for BB, a pair for me, and an UnderArmour t-shirt for me...that was after we spent $20 at Carl's Jr on lunch...YIKES!

Then, I went to Super Target to get some groceries, and spent $115! I spent a total of like $40 on groceries. The rest was on some other t-shirts for myself, some conditioner, and a box of hair color.

And here is my segue to my hairbrush! The box of color...I shall be coloring my hair tomorrow, or perhaps tonight. I am nervous, as this is a new color for me...same brand, different color...it looks much closer to my natural color (minus the gray), so where I have normally gone with something that includes "copper", "auburn" or "caramel" in the name, I am actually using something that is pretty much just called "brown"...I sincerely hope I don't scream when I remove the towel and dry my hair...
