Vacation Preparation Begins

Well, we did it...again...we went shopping as a family at Target to "pick up a few things" and walked out $317.20 later...OY!

I absolutely cannot take BB with me. Period.

We are planning a trip to Oregon to see the in-laws and celebrate a cousin's wedding at the end of July. BB heard someone speak on a website called OneBag.com about how you can travel light, and never have to check a bag again. Not a bad idea what with all the airlines freaking out about the high price of fuel, and making you pay to check any bags, and raising the prices on the bags you do check...so we went shopping for some new things that would be easy to hand-wash and line-dry if needed for BB and I. We also found a really cute little suitcase for $10 that Captain Chaos can pull (he probably won't, but he can when he's bigger)...the cool thing? The 4 new shirts, 4 new pairs of shorts and some socks for BB, along with my nifty new running skirt, and some really cool "training" shorts, pair of pjs, and a new wrap style dress, as well as a pair of flip-flops all fit into the little suitcase...I'm impressed with us so far...

Wish me luck as we attempt to pack lightly for the kiddos, knowing that we'll just have to buy some things when we get there, rather than try to pack them in our suitcases...
