Well, this morning was my last Moms' Group meeting until the fall, and I must admit I'm feeling a bit empty...we had a wonderful time this morning, and it was all fellowship and food today, with a great devotion. I had a great time reconnecting with some of our moms who've been away for one reason or another, and am truly hoping we can stay connected over the summer and spend time with us. It worked out that most of us have kids that are within months of each other, so it would be so much fun for them to play together, not to mention how nice it would be to spend time fostering a friendship with some really great ladies.
After my meeting, we headed to my folks to let the kids see Grammy and Poppa (or Boppa as Captain Chaos calls my dad), and ended up getting fed lunch...not a bad deal considering we were just going to stop by for a few minutes...but 2 hours later, here we are at home, Captain Chaos and Tiny Princess are both sleeping, the dog is snoring at my feet, and the cats are chasing the dust motes floating in the few random sunbeams that are about.
I am going to catch up on my laundry as yesterday was a LAZY day for me...I didn't do anything productive whatsoever...but it was nice to have a day off until I got up this morning and realized all that needed to be done. Oh well, teach me to play all day instead of work first and play second right?
