Catching Up

Wow! How did it get to be Monday again???

We spent Friday playing with blocks, building towers, and driving cars on the cool carpets that Grandma sent us from Oregon. Captain Chaos loves them.

Saturday, BB treated us to breakfast out at the IHOP, and then we went to my folks, and spent a couple hours letting Captain play with his Grammy and Poppa. Tiny Princess ate the whole time...little piggy girl.

Saturday afternoon, we spent time in our yard, preparing our garden boxes a little more for the coming planting season. We went to Saturday night church, and came home for dinner. Saturday night we had a visit from our across the way neighbors asking a woodworking question, and then we bathed the kiddos, and called it a night.

Yesterday we spent the WHOLE day in the yard. Well, BB spent the whole day...I spent the better part of it outside, but came in to change diapers and feed babies. It was so nice...not too hot to work, in fact, we got a ton of stuff done...BB broke 2 pitchforks trying to turn over the last of the garden boxes. He attempted to get the sprinkler system up and running, and found that over half of the zones have something not working...ugh!

Last night, we had chicken on the grill, a salad, and some rice. Then, Tiny Princess decided that she needed to be up most of the night...so I only got about 4 hours of sleep...2 of which were actually in my own bed. This morning, BB went off to work, and called me at 10 and said come have lunch with me. So we did...and now that we're home, Captain is watching one more episod of Veggie Tales, and then will go lay down for his nap, I'll feed Tiny Princess again, and put her down for a nap (but a short one, so she'll perhaps sleep tonight for longer than 2 hours at a time).

After that, I shall pick up my house in hopes that my housekeeper will actually show up tomorrow...but that's a story for another time.
