Speed Post

This will be speedy -

Things around here were busy before and are only getting busier...

Not sure how I'm feeling about it, but BB registered Captain for a baseball league. Not a week-long clinic, or even tee-ball, but full-on baseball. granted the coaches will be pitching and tees wills till be used...but still - twice a week practices between now and May 6th, and then we have a team-photo, a scrimmage, and then we have practice AND games every week...

Add to that the fact that Princess has dance class, which has been changed from 4:30pm to 1:30 pm, meaning that we don't get home until 3, and then have to try to squeeze in naps, dinner, and AWANA...and then AWANA means Captain doesn't get to bed til 9pm, but still has to get up at 6:30am in order to be ready for school...

Oh, and the fact that NOW, BB's registered Capt for a week-long beginning golf clinic the week after baseball wraps, and Princess will be doing a multi-sport mini-camp for a week.

Oh, and VBS is the first full week after school gets out for Capt, and the following week for Princess...

And I'm supposed to keep up with the regular list of things like cooking, cleaning, laundry, groceries, and during the summer I keep the garden weed-free and make sure the produce gets harvested and put-up as needed...

needless to say I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed and am greatly looking forward to our Women's Retreat for Church this weekend.

Please be praying that I can get the household into some semblance of order prior to Friday afternoon, in order that BB will have a wonderful, calm Friday night and Saturday with the kiddos.

He says he has not trouble caring for the kids, and that he can do things, but anytime I've been away for more than 2 hours at a time, he gets a little antsy and gets easily frustrated if he can't find things.

SO, I'll need to get all things cleaned, laundered, folded, put away, ironed etc, in addition to making sure he knows where everything is for meals and snacks as well as supplies like diapers etc...

And now, back to it!
