Wow...I apologize for sounding morose, or depressed or "blue" in my last post. I don't know quite what came over me...BUT let me just tell you that sometimes I have really deep thoughts that sort of make my brain throw up.
And on that lovely image, I must say that I'm altering FarmWife's Freddy Krueger Casserole for dinner tonight.
I've had this hankering for cold-weather food (chili, soup, casserole, fresh bread) for the last 2 weeks, and the stupid weather is not cooperating. In the least. It is currently 78 outside, and we are only 2 days from Halloween. Ummmm...is that not freaky enough for anyone else out there?!?!??!
At any rate, tonight we dine on the aforementioned casserole, and tomorrow, the folks are joining us for Burgundy Beef Tips (or Beef Beerganony as my father fondly refers to it, albeit jokingly), asparagus, and an lovely homemade peach cobbler for dessert.
Dinner's at 6. Come on over!

Hope the casserole is a winner! And I'll pack my bags...lets see, if I get on a plane after they take out my teeth...oh heck, I won't want to chew.
