Clutter, and What I Think Should REALLY Be Done With It

After spending the last three days cleaning, sorting, pricing and carrying the items for our sale into our garage, I wanted to make it known that I think clutter STINKS and should be LIT ON FIRE.

Period. End of story.

I hate knowing that when something is no longer loved, or no longer makes me happy that BB insists upon holding onto it "just in case". Just in case what, exactly?!?!?!?!? Will it suddenly make me happy again to look at something I had in High School? Will my body suddenly be a size 9 and I'll fit into my senior prom dress again? Will I really ever use 35 plastic sport bottles?! And what about those cassette tapes of music I haven't listened to in over a decade?!?!?!?

That being said...I am all for getting rid of it as it comes upon me...not waiting until the summer for the next garage sale...or waiting until I have "more than enough" to take to the shelter or any of the other reasons I might possible come up with to hold onto things.

I will hold onto all the baby things until we know that we are done, and the kids are done with it...

That being said...I am going to bed...I have to get up early in the morning...

BB has the depression era mentality. My grandmother does the same thing. Save it, you never know when you might need it or parts from it..It drives me nuts..But she's insistant it'll save me or her one day..she was rather upset when he had to sell 60 years of "junk" and parted with other things to my uncle and aunt.
