Well, the shopping for Captain Chaos' BBQ lunch is DONE! I have to make some dip, bake and decorate the cake, but the balloons are ordered, and all that is left is to clean up the rest of the house...not too much to do.
I have decided that while Capt is down for his nap (in about 10 minutes) I will finish the laundry and do the ironing. That way, all I have to do tomorrow is make the dips and pick up a cake mix...now, do I need 1 or 2 13 X 9 cakes for 20 people, knowing that 3 of them are under 5, and 3 of them are diabetic and shouldn't be eating cake and ice cream? That will leave brewing some iced tea early Sunday morning before we head to church, and making lemonade.
BB can pick up the balloons and ice Sunday on the way home from church, and I can make a pot of coffee for those crazy folks who like steaming hot drinks when it is 86 degrees outside (my Mom, for instance).
Oooh...I almost forgot, I need to wash the deck furniture and the wading pool...I wonder how bad it would be to add a splash of bleach to the pool to discourage anything from growing in it over the next 72 hours? Hmmmmmmm

For a 13x9 pan and your little ones and 20 people I would say 1 cake should make it.3 columns across and 6 rows..and then split a couple of those for the little ones.
